Is This Thing On?

Growing up in the 1970s, it was hard to avoid the television. Video games had not taken hold yet (One of Pong's drawbacks - not in color), and the fantastic premises and eclectic personalities beamed into my living room kept my eyes pinned and my mouth agape. So, here I am in 2010 with over 200 channels, DVR recordings, DVDs and hundreds of shows streaming over the internet — and I still find myself watching A-Team and Magnum P.I. repeats every night. I'm stuck in the 70s and 80s, but I like new shows, I really do. I watch Lost, and . . . well, I'm looking to branch out. Anyway, I'm starting this blog to talk television — stuff that interests me while hopefully garnering some recommendations from others. So, fire up the old cathode ray tubes . . .
